Grendel Productions Ltd was the successor to Fantasy Forge and inherited the Fantasy Forge product lines. It was set up by John Robertson in 1993 who had also started Fantasy Forge. They sold the Kryomek range to Scotia Micro Models in (1996) which later became Scotia Grendel (by 1998). Grendel also published a short-lived miniature games magazine called Anvil and they were heavily involved in the Forge magazine.
