Lost Worlds (Ral Partha)
From Lost Minis Wiki
Contents |
Ral Partha's Lost Worlds series of adventure-game books were published by Nova Game Designs, Inc. They were sold on their own or in boxed sets of two books. The box sets came with plastic play-trays moulded to look like a castle floor and some metal miniatures provided by Ral Partha. The covers of the books were inspired by pre-existing Ral Partha miniatures - Ral Partha re-catalogued the figures under the 95-xxx code ("specially packaged") to coincide with the launch of the books. The Ral Partha 1984 Catalog lists the 95-xxx series and the 1989 Catalog lists the gamebooks and their associated character models under their original codes (possibly indicating that the 95-xxx line was now retired). Each purchase of the original game books came with a discount coupon that you could redeem for money off on the Ral Partha figures.
95-xxx - The Miniatures
- The 1984 catalogue only lists up to 95-009, the 1989 lists more than 9 figures but does not use the 95-xxx codes for them.
The Box Sets with Miniatures
Apparently, only 2 box sets were produced. Each set contained 2 books from the series, a plastic scenery play-tray, and 8 metal miniatures (4 characters and 4 pieces of furniture).
