Lost Minis Wiki

This Online Contributors page is a "Thank You!" list of all the online auction sellers and retailers that we have received permission from to use their images, scans and photos. The Lost Minis Wiki is grateful for any images used and thanks are due in no small part to anyone listed on this page. A few people listed have said that attribution is not required / wanted - but this is rare.

Note: from time to time these links will be checked and if the seller becomes no longer registered, inactive or has stopped carrying relevant content our thanks will remain but the link will be deactivated.

Permission Given

  • The name of the seller is given at the end of the link.
  • The LMW user who established contact is given after the link as "+".


Ask First

  • The name of the seller is given at the end of the link.


Attribution Not Required

  • Some sources have agreed to let us use their images but do not need to be credited on each image.
  • They are still listed here to avoid asking them multiple times (which can be annoying).


How to Ask for Contributions

Be polite and to the point. Everyone's style is their own but something along the lines of: "I help edit the Lost Minis Wiki which seeks to catalog fantasy and sci-fi miniatures. Can I ask for permission to use your images on the Lost Minis Wiki? Each image used would be credited to you and you would get a mention on our Online Contributors / Commercial Contributors page with a link back to your eBay profile / website."

Note: if anyone does decline, we don't want to contact them a second time, so please check and update the Declined list on the talk page.

How to Credit an Image

If you upload an image from any of the contributors on this page then the image should be tagged using, for example:

This OARC template will automatically expand to a "used by permission / thank you" comment with a link back to this page. This is considerably easier than the method previously used.
