Pinnacle Entertainment Group was founded in 1994 by Shane Lacy Hensley. The Deadlands RPG was published in 1996. From 1997-1999 the company was associated with AEG and then (very briefly) from 2000-2001 Pinnacle was linked to cybergames.com. In 2003, Shane Hensley founded Great White Games and transfered all of Pinnacle's old IP to the new company leaving the PEG name as a trading name. Instead of revamping older products, PEG published a new RPG called Savage Worlds. See PEG's About page for more details.
