RuneQuest (Ral Partha)

Ral Partha's RuneQuest range was introduced in 1984. An advertisement in Dragon magazine #91 (November 1984) announced that Ral Partha had acquired the license to produce metal figures for Avalon Hill's RuneQuest roleplaying game. Based on this advertisement it would appear that the first figures released were the 10-400 and 10-401 boxed sets. Over the next couple of years the line was expanded to include five boxed sets and the first eight blister packs. According to Empire [1], some figures were released in baggies under the 18-400 product code range - these are not documented in the catalogs and are almost certainly the same figures as in the blister packs: proof still required. In the early 1990's the box sets were phased out of production and the contents of the 10-4xx boxed sets were moved into new blister packs (codes 18-009 through 18-017). The range was dropped from the catalog in 1997.
