Thunderbolt Mountain was founded in 1988 by Tom Meier after he left Ral Partha. They closed for business on 25th December 2017. 1,2,3 In the UK, a company called "Awesome Enterprises" had the license to produce Thunderbolt Mountain figures for the UK and Europe.
In 2020, Ral Partha Legacy obtained a license to produce the Thunderbolt Mountain ranges including many new figures from Tom Meier.
