Fantasy Football is a generic term for games based, usually, on an American Football style fantasy game using miniatures or card figures to represent the players. Probably the best known is Blood Bowl produced by Games Workshop who have produced many miniatures via their sister company Citadel Miniatures over the years although other manufacturers have produced games and miniatures in the genre. One of the earliest examples is ”Monsters of the Midway” published in Dragon #65 from 1982.
