Ral Partha

Ral Partha and FASA's Fantasy Armies series has a complicated history: initially it was part of the original Ral Partha Fantasy Collector Series, which was introduced in 1979 and sculpted by Tom Meier, but in 1985 the range was split under two sub-headings: Fantasy Armies and Player Characters. Later, during the 1990s many figures were resculpted, renumbered or replaced and the "Fantasy Collector Series" prefix was usually omitted. When FASA

bought Ral Partha in 1998, the "Fantasy Armies" series lived on in name only with a vastly different inventory (this page). Ral Partha, now a wholly owned subsidiary of FASA, produced the figures on this page for only 2 years before the parent company, FASA, went out of business and the range was sold to Iron Wind Metals where most of them are still in production. Notation like "(6/4)" after a figure means that these were sold in packs of 6 with 4 variants pictured in the catalogues.
